Celebrating St. Giles’ 100th Birthday!
2025 marks an extraordinary milestone in our school’s history – St. Giles’ Centenary! Our story began in January 1925 on Winterbourne Road as a school for SEND Children. Over the years, St. Giles has undergone many transformations, including its move to Featherbed Lane in Addington in 1933, and its eventual relocation to our current purpose-built premises on Pampisford Road in 1977. Through every chapter, we have remained steadfast in our mission to provide exceptional education and support for children with physical disabilities.
To commemorate our 100th year, we are planning a series of events throughout 2025 to celebrate this incredible achievement. These events will honour our rich history while looking forward to an exciting future. Details of specific celebrations will be shared soon, so stay tuned! Let’s make this centenary year a time to remember.
