International Week

Mon 3rd March—7th March 2025

Next week, we are excited to celebrate International Week! This is a fantastic opportunity for students to learn about different cultures, new places, and each other’s traditions. We warmly invite parents and carers to join us at the times below to celebrate together with your child and their class.

Upper school Activities:

In the Upper school parents are invited for the following dates to celebrate International week learning with students:

  • Keller – Thursday 27th February at 10.30 am
  • Dalzell – Thursday 27th February at 2 pm
  • Wonder – Tuesday 4th March at 10.45 am
  • Simmonds – Wednesday 5th March at 9.30 am
  • Hawking – Wednesday 5th March at 10.45 am
  • Christy – Wednesday 5th March at 2 pm
Middle school Activities:

In the Middle school during International Week, students will be working together to create a large canvas piece of artwork that reflects their chosen country. Parents/carers are invited for the following dates to celebrate International week learning with students:

  • Gold – Monday 3rd March at 11:15am
  • Green – Wednesday 5th March at 2pm
  • Pink – Wednesday 5th March at 2pm
  • Purple – Wednesday 5th March at 2pm
  • Silver – Thursday 6th March at 2pm

Welcome

Welcome to St Giles School. Our vision is to give every child every opportunity to “be the best that they can be”. We cater for children with complex physical disabilities, medical needs, speech and language difficulties and a range of associated learning difficulties aged 4 – 16. We have a Further Education unit for young people with profound and multiple learning difficulties aged 16-19.
